VARIETY INTERNATIONAL 'Devil's Tomb' electrifies Voltage Los Angeles-based sales and finance company Voltage Pictures has picked up foreign sales rights to "The Devil's Tomb," a supernatural thriller starring Cuba Gooding, Ron Perlman and Ray Winstone. Now in post-production, pic is helmed by actor-turned-director Jason Connery, whose first effort behind the camera was last year's "Pandemic." "Tomb" sees a team of mercenaries on a rescue mission in a Middle Eastern desert uncover a mystery that has been hidden for thousands of years. It was produced on a budget of just under $10 million by the Bubble Factory, headed by Bill Sheinberg, Jon Sheinberg and Sid Sheinberg, and Steve Harris of Ringleader Studios. The film was co-produced by Joe Dain and Jim Bradley’s Empyreal Entertainment. Voltage previously handled Kathryn Bigelow-helmed "The Hurt Locker" and upcoming Ashton Kutcher pic "Spread." Rights in North America are repped by the producers. |
